This conference is designed to feature new and exciting applications and extensions of human capital theory. The expanding role of knowledge, learning, and productivity growth in the global information economy increases the centrality of human capital as an asset and our interest in understanding the process of its acquisition and formation, as well as its measurement and impact on various sectors of the economy. Leading academics will present and discuss recent research on these issues.
